Chilling at the beach

So, there I was, not knowing what to do with myself and with all the spare time I suddenly had, when I came across Vincenzo again. I had spoken to him in the club where I got brutally sacked a day earlier and he had asked me to come over and check out his place. So I went there... wow.

The guy actually has a beach hut, pool, and his own bar... so yeah, I spent my day forgetting about my money troubles and chilling out in the hot sun.

Much better! Thanks V.

That *oooh, LL rules don't let me say this word* just sacked me!

Right, there was this other event down in the Love Bugg, so I went over to dance a little and have some fun. I figured it would be nice to add a few sparkles and stuff, you know, more colors, more happiness...

Then my ever-so-loved boss Jenniferbugg Blackflag started shouting that the sparkles should go, or you'd get a perm-ban... okay.. fine, I turn them off, and IM her that this could also have been done in a bit a more decent fashion.

Next thing I know, the bitch fires me and bans her from her club for "telling her what to do". Pity, she appeared so nice at first, but the first cracks came when the bitch had personal issues and one of the bouncers tried comforting her (only to get fired the day after).

Some people just don't know how to act...

ah well, back to the job search.

My poor boss

Today I learned that the owner of the Love Bugg is taking a break from SL due to some emotional developments.

That sucks. She is a really nice person, and I'd hate to see her go. Not only because the lost income, I'll find a way for that, but more because the thing apparently really shook her.

Jennifer, get back on your feet soon and get back, we need you out here!

Aaaw... my head

aaaaw, my head hurts so much today... maybe mom was right when she told me never to take drinks from strangers... I took a lot of drinks from many strangers last night.

But it was fun though, we had this wicked party at the Love Bugg (where I happen to work as a dancer). Best thing possible: a great party, great people, winning some money in the sploder (a game where everybody puts some money in, which is then randomly divided) AND getting paid.

Hihi, I like that. I like that a lot!

Now today, what am I gonna do today? I think I am gonna start with a drink at the Moonshine Herbst bar, to get rid of the hangover, and then... I think I am going to explore the neighbourhood a bit. Perhaps I can lay my hands on something nice.

Oh yeah, if you'd like to ask me something, feel free to mail me at Lynn_Evelyn@hotmail.com

Bye bye

Free rent...?

I got really excited when I saw this advertisement in the paper about an area where they did not charge rent!

So I got on the bus, drove over there, then had to walk for half an hour followed by an alpine expedition... the spot was on the top of the highest mountain!

I got there.. nothing!

So I got out my cellphone (which -miraculously- worked) and phoned the information services, who put me through to this guy, Sargus. He had no clue of which ad I was speaking, as he had acquired the land a while ago. And not just this land... he owns almost a full country! He must be one of the richest guys around.

Sadly, rich people tend to be horribly arrogant. Well, not him! He was so wonderfull! He took me over to this place where we went shopping. A man, taking a woman out to go shopping!

I picked up a load of beautifull outfits, some stuff I could use if I would start a business and even a bike!

Weeee, I am a biker chick!

I made some money!

Okay,
so I was hanging out in the Love Bugg yesterday, dancing around a bit, having a good time. The bouncer there, Bo, is really sweet... but yeah.. I already have someone.. if it wasn't for him.

Anyway, I am dancing around, and suddenly some people come up and give me money to keep dancing! Wow, isn't that great???

Job interview

I had another job interview today!

It started really nice, the owner was a friendly woman and we seemed to get along pretty well, but then... she suddenly decided she didn't like my hair, so she sent me to the hair dresser.

I went, and changed my hair according to her wishes, making me look like... well... not me. But when I finally came back, she had already given the job to someone else. She is so mean :(

Also, I invested some money in some dividend machine, had to pay $44. It says it will pay a dollar a day in dividend. Don't know if that was a smart investment...

No, today did not go well

I have a house !

Yay!
I have managed to get a small house... it is 10 by 10 metres, which is tiny, but it is a place to call home. But just a house is just a house, so I visited some stores which are focusing on new residents.

This place is a real shoppers paradise!

I got a free bed (two person), a glass table, a make-up table, a nice fireplace and relaxation chair... I even have a bench for in my yard!

I even got a free car!

But there is still the rent. I went to see the woman who offered me a job, and it was pretty straight forward... she wanted me to dance. But I have to be naked ! I just don't know about that, I mean, I am an artist, not some prostitute. That just ain't how daddy raised me!

So many nice people :D

Wow, I met soooo many nice people today. And some of them like me so much, they let me dance for money...nothing sexual, just normal dancing, to get the mood going :)

I even met a guy paying me to sit at the bar. I like this city!

So yeah, I spent the whole night dancing and drinking and woke up in some alley this morning, you see... I still have no home.

That must change! I have $59 on me, so I went to look for land. I met this really nice woman renting land for a weekly fee, and I took a nice piece of 512 square metres where I will build my house. I paid her $50 ahead...so now I need to work more to pay the rest. Luckily, she said she might also have some work for me...

I will go to the interview in a few minutes, this is so exciting!

Looking for work

Well, I arrived in the Second Life World today and started looking for a job. It wasn't long until I was approached by someone who was recruiting.

She said she needed some professional dancers, and the pay would be good. I got really interested and she gave me a map to that place. I decided to go there, not realizing that the way she dressed (or better: did not dress) could be a clue of the kind of dancing that was required...)

Well, I am not desperete enough for that yet!

I was born on Graduation Island in Second Life on october 18th (yesterday).

It was a day of learning. Like everybody, my first lesson was walking. It took me a while to get the hang of it, I kept bumping into others, but now I am quite capable of moving from A to B.

Then, I was led to a place where I could change my clothes and appearance, so I got myself a nice little outfit (see the pic).

Next phase was grabbing a big beachball and putting it on the table. I found it almost impossible to do... it took me a minute to discover that someone else was trying to move the same ball, so we were kind of pulling the same thing in two directions. And by moving something, I do not mean pick it up, but point at it, and make it fly somewhere.

Speaking of which... I also learned how to fly!

Weeeeee!!! I already love this world :)

I graduated rapidly and then ended up on help island, where I could pick up some items and learn how to build things. Well, some people are good at that, I am not yet, but I am sure, that with sufficient time, I will be able to learn how to make something. It will just take some practice.

I think I am ready now... I have packed my bags, and am on the way to the big world! I am so gonna be rich in the big city. I'll get a good job, a house, nice friends, and who knows..a nice hubby.
